TAC logoDear fellow Texan,

We are the Texas chapter of the national Tenth Amendment Center; a non-partisan organization seeking to restore the responsibility of the 50 States and their citizens to deal with issues whose jurisdiction is reserved exclusively to the several states and to the people therein by the Tenth Amendment to the United States constitution. On behalf of the Tenth Amendment Center-Texas (TAC-T), we are pleased to present the following sovereignty-related legislation update as part of the continuing TAC-T Agenda for Action.

In order to reclaim and to exercise our sovereign rights as citizens of this republic and the state of Texas, the Tenth Amendment Center-Texas leadership crafted four pieces of legislation. These include:

1)       The Federal Healthcare Nullification Act—Texas (adopted in part; now HJR 48 sponsored by Rep. James White (HD-12)) Go to http://www.legis.state.tx.us/   Enter: HJR 48

2)       The Texas Liberty Preservation Act (adopted in toto; now HB 149 sponsored by Rep. Lyle Larson (HD-122))  Go to http://www.legis.state.tx.us/   Enter: HB-149

3)       The Travel Freedom Act—Texas (adopted in part; now HB-80 sponsored by Rep. David Simpson (HD-7) and SB-20 sponsored by Sen. Dan Patrick (SD-7)) Go to http://www.legis.state.tx.us/  Enter: HB-80 and SB-20 (separately)

4)       The Texas Environmental Sovereignty Act (awaiting sponsorship)

It is the expressed wish of the Tenth Amendment Center-Texas to make this draft legislation readily available to you. This letter serves to grant unlimited permission for any and all to use this draft legislation in part on in toto for introduction into the 83rd Legislature.

Tenth Amendment Center—Texas solicits YOUR PERSONAL INVOLVEMENT in pushing the federal government back to the parameters established for it by Article One, Section 8, of the federal constitution.

Tenth Amendment Center-Texas welcomes your support and collaboration in this effort. We will continue to serve you as a resource in our common pursuit of Liberty. Please feel free to contact us at any time.
